Health & Safety Training Course

NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety

Description

NEBOSH certificates are suitable for managers, supervisors and employees in all industry sectors with responsibility and or a keen interest in construction health and safety.

This course is also suitable for supervisors, managers and CDM co-coordinators within the construction industry who are required to ensure that activities under their control are undertaken safely.

Safety, health and environmental practitioners who wish to formalize their experience and progress their career with a professional qualification would also benefit from this qualification.

Length of Course

We understand the importance of flexibility in our approach to training and so deliver NEBOSH courses in a number of ways:

  • Evenings – one evening per week for the duration of the course plus additional sessions for revision

  • Block release – intensive course where candidates attend one week taught study with a week break for self study prior to another week taught study plus additional days for revision

  • Block release, no breaks. Very intensive course where candidates attend consecutive days taught study for the duration of the course. Followed by revision days

  • Day release – one day per week taught study, for the duration of the course plus additional revision days.

The NEBOSH certificate qualifications are delivered in modular units where applicable.
A Health and Safety Management module (NGC1) precedes the NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (NCC1). Candidates who have completed the Management module (NGC1) within the previous five years can go on to complete Units 2 and 3 (NCC1 and NCC2) of the NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety as part of their study.
