ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership

 

Description

The Award is a concise qualification made up of two mandatory units. In the first unit participants review different leadership theories relevant to their organisation and investigate organisational leadership performance by analysing a critical incident. The second unit, ‘Developing the reflective leader’, enables participants to reflect on their learning and experience to improve their performance.

 

Length of Course

Minimum 30 hours. Completion within one year.

 

Who Should Attend

The ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership is a qualification that has been specially designed to give practising or potential senior managers critical evaluative skills for their formal development in this role.

This course is for individuals or for an organisation.

 

Entry Qualifications

There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be practising or aspiring senior managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

 

Course Content

  • Induction – one hour
  • Tutorial support – at least seven hours
  • Two mandatory units, each with a credit value of 6

  • Work-based assignments
  • Reflective reviews
  • Oral presentations
